The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in special session in the Commission
Room, City Hall building, Monday, September 14, 1959 at 3:30 P. M., pursuant to the
. call of Mayor Erwin given by personal notice at the regular meeting of the Commission
I held September 9th, 1959. Present were Mayor Erwin, Commissioner Swanson, Commissioner-
Berg, City Manager Henderson, City Attorney Lovelace and the Clerk. Also, present
was Laurence Gerckens who has been employed by the City of Bozeman on a part-time
basis as a planning consultant.
The stated purpose of the meeting was to review existing zoning regulations
and to consider a proposed new zontng ordinance, draft of which had been prepared
by the City Attorney, which consolidates into one ordinance the existing zoning
ordinances and revisions thereof proposed or recommended by S. R. DeBoer and Co.
and the City-County Planning Board to bring zoning regulations of the City up to
date. The entire meeting was taken up considering the proposed new ordinance.

It was moved by Commissioner Swanson, seconded by Commissioner Berg, that the
meeting adjourn and the motion was carried by the following Aye and fio vote: those
voting Aye being Mayor Erwin, Commissioner Swanson and Commissioner Berg; those
voting No, none, and the meeting adjourned at 6:00 o'clock i. M.
