HomeMy WebLinkAbout1959-01-14 2Lt Bozeman, Montana January 14, 1959 The Conmdssion of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall Building, Wednesday, January 14, 1959, at 1:00 o'clock P. M. Present were Mayor Erwin, Commissioner Swanson, Commissioner Berg, City Manager Henderson and the Clerk. The following proceedings were had: Minutes of the last regular session were read and it was moved by Commissioner Swanson, seconded by Commissioner Berg, that the minutes be approved as read and the motion was carried by the following I Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Erwin, Commissioner Swanson and Commissioner Berg; those voting No, none. Reports The following reports for the month of December, 1958 were presented: Police Judge Water Collector Cashier It was moved by Commissioner Berg, seconded by Commissioner Swanson, that the reports be accepted and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Erwin, Commissioner Swanson and Commissioner Berg; those voting No, none. Report of state Examiner The report of the state Examiner on the annual inspection made by his department of the acoolUlts and operations of this city for the period ending November 30th, 1958 was presented. Except for two minor criticisms, the report showed all accounting correct and all operations being carried on in excellent manner. Renewal Certificate - Gas & Electrical Bond - George We1lhouser I Renewal certificates for Plumber's lleense Bond and Electrical Bond of George Wellhouser were presented. It was moved by Commissioner Berg, seconded by Commissioner SWanson, that the certificates be approved. and accepted and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Erwin, Commissioner Swanson and Couun1ssioner Berg; those voting No, none. Application for Gas Pump -Business District Part II An application from Wayne Pearson, for Vendo Enterprise, for a permit to install a "self- service" gasoline pump on the Parkway Grocery lot at 9th Avenue and College Street, which is in Business District, Part II, was presented. Since the Zoning Ordinance No. 776 reserves the right of the City Commission to deny a permit or City License to establish a business in this District which is not considered suitable for a small retail shopping district, the application was taken under advisement for further investigation. Adjournment There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by Commissioner Berg, seconded by Commissioner Swanson, that the meeting adjourn and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Erwin, Commissioner Swanson and Commissioner Berg; those voting No, none.
