The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in special session, pursuant to the call of the Mayor,
in the Court Hoom, City Hall Building, Thursday, March 26, 1959, at 7:30 o'clock P. M. Present were
Hayor Erwin, Corrunissioner Swanson, Commissioner Berg, Acting City Hanager Cutting, City Engineer
Liquin and Carl H. Christophersen representing Consultant Engineers, Harold Hoskins & Associates.
Due to the illness of L. G. Shadoan, Cutting was designated as Acting Clerk of the City Commission! I
This meeting was called by the Nayor at the request of citizens residing within proposed Special
Improvement District No. I..OP, for the purpose of clarifying all aspects of this contemplated drainage
project.
Hr. Chritophersen explained the general theories for establishing a dminage system as related to
boundaries, pipeline~;, catchbasins and determination of assessa"ble areas. He was then assisted 'c;y l1r.
U.quin in explaining the ~5pecific details of proposed Special Improvement District No. hOP, using
wall charts and maps of the area.
Every effort "-'as made to answer Lhe numerous questions of the some 50 citizens present and to
provide accurate information in regard to the intent and design of the proposed project.
Adjournment
Following a general discussion, it "Jas moven by Commissioner Swanson, seconded b.y Commissioner
Berg, that the meeting adjourn and the motion was carried by the following ll.,ye and No vote: those
voting Aye being Mayor Erwin, COnIDlissioner Swanson and Commissioner Berg; those voting No, none.
