Agreement - Housing & Home Finance Agency - Sanitary Sewer Planning
The agreement between the Housing and Home "Finance Agency and the City of Bozeman for an advance
of ~6,500.00 for preliminary planning for improvements and additions to the sanitary sew,~r system,
was presented. The agreement 1'1'aS approved as to form by the City Attorne;r. It was moved by Commissioner I
f\ seconded by Comnissioner Swanson, that the agreernent be approved and accepted and the Mayor and

Agree~ent -- Hoskins 8t Associates - Engineering Services for Sewer Planning
An agreement between the City of Bozeman and Harold Hoskins and Associates, Consulting 3ngineers,
t.o prepare preliminalT plans and study tor extension and expansion of the present sanitary sewer ~iystem,
was presented. The agreementv,arcJ approved as to form by the City Attorney. It was moved by Commissioner
Berg, secor,ded by Commissioner Swanson , that the agreement be approved and accepted, and the Hayor and
the Clerk of t1te Commission be authorized to sign the agreement for the City of Bozeman, and the motion

Grade Location for Sidewalk at Main and 15th
I ,Tohn W. Griffin, of the ~-rontana Book &: Bible Store, was present and requestect as~dstance ro.r the
location of grades for sidewe;,}k at their building located at Fifteen Avenue and Hai!'. Street. The
City Engineer was instructed to give v.matever assistance he could to Mr. Griffin.
Extension of Time to Pay for T.at 12, Cleveland Subdivision
A request ,from Henr;'l Spomer of Spomer Homes {'or an extension of time to Ju!'.e 1, 1959 for the
payment of the balance due on Lot 12, Cleveland ,'jub-division was read. It was moved by Commissioner
SWdnson, seconded by Commissioner Berg, that the request be granted and the motion wa~; carried by

Proposed Platting South of College Street At Black Avenue

It was reported that a request has been made "rom the Fjrst "ationa1 Ea,,> to construct a
'rPlatform-step" at the sidewalk entrance to the baseT'lent on the west sid.e o~n said "::lank building.
Permission to construct a small retainer wall for -('lood protection purposes at this entrance Nas
approved on itugust 22th, 1958. [',ttorney Berg ad'Tised the Commis::oion that permissicn to construct
such a platform on the sidewal.k could make the City Hable in case of an accident caused by the plat-
