HomeMy WebLinkAbout1959-01-07 23 Bozeman, Montana January 7, 1959 The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall Building, Wednesday, 7 January 1959, at 1:00 o'clock P. M. Present were Mayor Erwin, Commissioner Swanson, Commissioner Berg, City Manager Henderson, City Attorney Lovelace and the Clerk. The follow- ing proceedings were had: I Minutes of the last regular session were read and it was moved by Commissioner Swanson, seconded by Commissioner Berg, that the minutes be approved as read and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Erwin, Commissioner Swanson and Commissioner Berg; those voting No, none. Claims for Month Claims Nos. 3549 to 3829 inclusive were presented on the various funds as follows: Band $ 16.00 Cemetery 1,176.00 Garbage 2,931.27 General 17,931.39 Library 1,532.66 Park 3,570.77 Parking Meter 1,280.02 S. D. S. Revenue 4,010.58 Street 6,084.80 Water System Improvement 6,935.22 Water 10,472.43 Cemetery Permanent Care 1,897.25 P. E. R. S. 716.97 P. L. & P. 169.60 Police Reserve 2, 539.74 S. I. D. Revolving 977.77 Tot a 1 - - - - $62,242.47 I The Manager stated he has audited these claims and finds them to be true and lawful claims against the City of Bozeman and recommends that warrants be issued for their payment. After examination of the claims in detail by the Commission and checking against the Claim Register, it was moved by Commissioner Berg, seconded by Commissioner Swanson, that the claims be approved and warrants drawn for their payment, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Erwin, Commissioner Swanson and Commissioner Berg; those voting No, none. Reports The following reports for the month of December, 1958 were presented: Sewage Plant Operator Librarian Chief of Police Sanitary Inspector Fire Chief It was moved by Commissioner Swanson, seconded qy Commissioner Berg, that the reports be accepted and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Erwin, Commissioner Swanson and Commissioner Berg; those voting No, none.
