HomeMy WebLinkAbout1964-06-11 - 4?2-A I Bozeman Montana , June 11, 1964 SPEC TAL MEETING The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in Special Session in the Commission Room, City Hall Building, Thursday, June 11, 1964 at 7:30 p.m. Present were Mayor Morrow, Commis- sioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr, City Manager Cutting, Ass't. City Manager FrysLie and the Clerk. 1 Re analysis the Municipal Building Facility Program The stated purpose of the meeting was to consider a re analysis of the MunicipaL Buildinp FaciLity Program. Present at the meeting and taking part in the discussion -. were the City's Architects Oswald Berg, Jr. and William Grabow and also President William McLaughLin and Trustee Vern Lang of the Bozeman Eagles Lodge. President J. D. Street of the Security Bank and Trust Company and Roy Anderson were also present. The entire meeting was taken up with a review and general discussion of the City's Municipal Building Pl.ans as developed in 1961 and approved by the City Commission. These plans were re-examined in detail and following discussion of several suggestions of how portions of the proposed facilities could be sacrificed in order to bring the estimated cost of the project within the authorized funds of $475,000, it was the concensus that it is Possible to accomplish the major portion - ATTEST: i!!"~~/ Clerk t e Clty ommission 5?~1 Ma yo r I 473-A of the project in accordance with the existing plans. I The Architects wero therefore instructed to prepare tentative sketches incorporating changes in accordance with the discussion for presentation to the City Commission for further consideration at a SpeciaL Ivleetlni! to be held at 9:30 A.M., June 29, 1964. Ad ,j ournmen t There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time it was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by ComMissioner Langohr, that the meeting adjourn.
