The purpose of this task order is to allow Tetra Tech to continue inspection of residential
mitigation systems to ensure operational effectiveness through June 2019. Mitigation systems
were installed in Bridger Creek Phase III residences during 2013 and 2014. There are 27
systems in operation. There will be one period of inspection and these will be conducted in
accordance with the following schedule:
Two inspections of each home will occur between the date of task order approval and
June 27, 2017.
■ The City Engineer may request additional inspections for the periods of (i) June 27, 2017
and June 27, 2018 and (ii) June 27, 2018 and June 27, 2019.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Tetra Tech personnel will inspect each system. This will consist of the following work activities:
■ Contact each homeowner with a mitigation system and arrange an acceptable time to
inspect the system. If a homeowner does not respond to two requests for inspection,
then no further contact efforts will be conducted and the home owner's lack of response
will be documented.
■ Conduct inspection of each mitigation system. Measure air flow and vacuum proximal to
the fan. If convenientlaccessible, measure vacuum in any existing vacuum monitoring
points in the residence. Target a winter measurement (i.e., November to January) and a
summer measurement (i.e., May to June).
■ Results of the testing will be shared with the homeowner and City of Bozeman. For the
homeowner, this will be in the form of a letter. For the City, this will be in the form of two
semi-annual progress reports summarizing inspection results. These progress reports
will be submitted in February and June of each inspection period (described above).
