Message: A cities first responsibility is to support and protect its citizens. The majority of voters
in the past election let it be known they want the government to do its job protecting the borders.
Without borders have no country. The left leaning political entities pushing for sanctuary cities
in their false sense of compassion are weakening our sovereignty. I say "false" sense of
compassion because I'm sure you/they lock your doors at night. Not because you hate the people
outside, but because you want to protect your family. Why would we want to encourage
lawlessness to come to our city? If Bozeman is a sanctuary city, does that mean I won't have to
pay a penalty for a traffic violation? Can I have sanctuary from penalties for not paying property
tax? Will all city offices remove the locks from their doors? I don't think it is wise to do this to
our city.
