Message: Dear Commissioners: I am writing to ask Mayor Taylor to put the Sanctuary City
request on the Commission's agenda and for the Commissioners to support it. I was pleased to
hear that the Police policy is to not look at Citizenship status in non-felony investigations.
However, I would like Bozeman to stand up and be counted as a place where immigrants are
welcome and not persecuted because they wish to come to a place that historically has been
pretty welcoming and generally a beacon of freedom. The times in the past, like interning
Japanese decent people in WW2, were some of our bleakest that most people wish we could
