Message: Regarding the proposed "sanctuary city" status for Bozeman: not only does this tactic
seem rife for unintended consequences, but it displays an unhappy tendency to meddle in law
enforcement. Why not forbid police to enforce marijuana or underage drinking laws? You'd
likely get a lot of support for those efforts. Also, certain members of the community seem
determined to attack problems that don't seriously exist here - like the gay, lesbian, transgender,
etc., issue of last year.
