Message: I am writing to say that I am against turning Bozeman into a sanctuary city. My reason
for this is because it will raise our crime rates significantly, and there has been more crime here
this past year than there has been in even the last 10 years that I have been living here. We
already don't have enough low-income housing for the people who are already living in this area,
and the rent rates in Bozeman are astronomically high. I have also seen and heard proof from
people in other cities that became sanctuary cities that these issues are true and that by doing this
their city was ruined. I moved out here because this was a safe and beautiful place to live. If you
choose to make this happen, you will watch the city you love get stripped down and fall apart.
