The Commission of The City of Bozeman met in regular session in the
Commission Room, City Hall Building, Wednesday, March 4, 1964 at 1:00 o'clock
p.m. Present were Mayor Morrow, Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr,

City Manager Cutting, Ass't. City Manager Fryslie, City Attorney Berg and the
Clerk.
Reverend Leonard Kovar of the Pilgrim Congregational Church opened the
meeting with a prayer and the following proceedings were had:
Minutes of the last regular session were read and it was moved by Commis-
sioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the minutes be approved
as read and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those
voting Aye being Mayor Morrow, Commissioner Langohr and Commissioner Sedivy;
those voting No, none.
Zoning Restrictions
Walter Sales
Walter L. Sales of 311 S. Willson appeared to inquire about the zoning
restrictions, particularly in regard to motor vehicle sales and service, that
would apply to the property situated at the southeast corner of the inter-
section of South Willson Avenue and Olive Street.
Continuation of License Bonds
Budd Plumbing & Heating (Gas Fitter)

In compliance with Chapter 16 of the Bozeman Municipal Code, the continu-
ation certificate for the gas fitter bond of Budd Plumbing and Heating, Inc.
was presented. The City Manager stated the Building Inspector had approved
the continuation of the bond and the City Attorney had approved
the certificate as to form. It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by
Commissioner Langohr, that the continuation of the aforementioned bond be
approved and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those
voting Aye being Mayor Morrow, Commissioner Sedivy and Commissioner Langohr;
those voting No, none.
Offer to Purchase from City of Bozeman
Lot 17, Block G, Hoffman's
A written offer received from Realtor Thomas E. Dugdale on behalf of a
client, to purchase Lot 17, Block G, HOffman's, from the City of Bozeman, for
the purchase price of $500.UO, was presented. After discussion, a sale price
for the lot was set at $75U.00, plus the cost of $95.43 for the City's expense
incurred for the assessment to the lot for the paving incorporated in Special
Improvement District No. 385, or a total offer to sell for $845.34. In accord-
ance with the recommendation of the City Manager, it was moved by Commissioner
Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, tnat Mr. Dugdale be advised of the

Commission's counter offer for the sale of subject Lot 17 and in the event
the counter offter is accepted by Mr. Dugdale, the City Attorney be directed
to prepare an appropriate resolution and a proper deed for transfer of the
property to the purchaser upon payment of the stipulated amount of $845.34.
The motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye
being Mayor Morrow, Commissioner Langohr and Commissioner Sedivy; those
voting No, none.

The City Manager stated that the reports appeared to indicate normal
operations of the various departments and recommended their approval. It
was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the
reports be approved and ordered filed. The motion was carried by the follOW-
ing Aye and No vote: those voting Aye. being Mayor Morrow, Commissioner
Sedi vy and commis sioner Langohr; those voting No, none.

The City Manager commented on the claims and stated he had audited
them and found them to be true and lawful claims against the City of Bozeman
~nd recommended that they be approved and the Director of Finance directed
to issue warrants in payment. After examination of the claims in detail and
checking against the claim register, it was moved by Commissioner Langohr,
seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that all claims as presented be approved
and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting
Aye being Mayor Morrow, Commissioner Langohr and commissioner Sedivy; those
vo ting No, none.
Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the Comrission at this
time it was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr,
that the meeting adjourn and the motion was carried by the following Aye and
No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Morrow, Commissioner Sedivy and
Commissioner Langohr; those voting N:~on~.
