Message: Thank you for the time and effort you take to make our community the best for
everyone. I understand your right to implement city ordinances that respect The Constitution of
The United States of America and The Constitution of Montana. However, allowing sanctuary
cities completely goes against the Constitution of the United States and affects every American,
not just the Bozeman community. I am a citizen of The United States of America and a Montana
and Gallatin Valley resident. The people who have made this a proposal DO NOT speak for me!
I contact you to express my opposition to any consideration to make Bozeman a sanctuary city!
This would negatively affect everyone in the Gallatin Valley and Montana as well as make
Bozeman the 'Most UNlivable Place' due to the safety concerns that would arise as a result.
Please do NOT consider this illegal and dangerous idea! Let's keep Bozeman and the Gallatin
Valley a safe livable place for legal citizens!! Thank you!! Sally Carothers
