Message: Mayor, Deputy Mayor & Commissioners- I am writing this Tuesday as a way to let
you know that I do not support Bozeman becoming a sanctuary city, and I encourage you all to
oppose this move by the city as well. It puts undue hardship on every single aspect of our
community, and makes it especially hard for our law enforcement officers to keep us safe and
enforce the laws that have been set in place for a reason. I fully support our community
embracing diversity, but I do not believe that that makes it necessary for us to completely ignore
the laws of our great country, and encourage people who have come here illegally to enter and
take shelter in our town. Please, please consider this very carefully, and do not make a motion for
this to take place. I do not agree with it. Thank you for your time.
