Message: The definition of an illegal immigrant is someone who came into our country and
broke the law to do it. Why would you encourage criminals by providing them with sanctuary in
your city? I hope that you will defeat this ill-conceived resolution. There are plenty of people in
other countries who are waiting to come to the U.S. legally. Welcome them to your city, not law
breakers.
