Subject: Opose Food and Fashion Truck Restrictions

I was recently informed of a proposal to limit food and fashion trucks in downtown Bozeman
this year. I am a Bozeman resident and I find the food truck Friday gives us another reason to
go downtown and socialize, shop, enjoy some beverages and just do Bozeman. They are
unique items that are not found in any restauraunts or shops in town and acutally promote
buisiness to the neighboring mobile vendor. I strongly urge the city to not restrict these
mobile buisiness' as they are a draw to downtown and do provide the city and local buisiness'
revenue. I'm sure a registration fee to allow them to be there would suffice. Perhaps
strategically placing parking spots so food trucks are not right outside local food buisiness' and
fashion trucks are not right outside clothing retailers. There can be a compromise so all can
profit.
