HomeMy WebLinkAbout17- RFP Advertisement - Purchase of Tax Increment Urban Renewal Revenue Bonds (Northeast Urban Renewal District) Series 2017REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE PURCHASE OF TAX INCREMENT URBAN RENEWAL REVENUE BONDS (NORTHEAST URBAN RENEWAL DISTRICT), SERIES 2017 CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA NOTICE IS HEREBY given that the City of Bozeman is seeking proposals from lending institutions willing to issue a loan evidenced by a bond to its Northeast Urban Renewal Tax Increment Financing District (the “District”). The District has annual tax increments available to make loan payments. For the current tax year, the District increment revenue was $143,000. The District currently has no other debt. STATEMENT OF NEED The District is seeking a fixed rate loan in the estimated amount of $1,446,000, payable in equal semi-annual installments over a period of 25 years to fund infrastructure improvements in the District in FY17/18. The entire Request for Proposals document, including the basic term sheet and schedules can be found on the City Web page at www.bozeman.net by selecting the BID button and clicking on the link to this project. In addition, the RFP may be distributed to individual financial institutions. DELIVERY OF PROPOSALS Electronic searchable PDF files must be submitted via e-mail no later than 5:00 PM on March 27, 2017 to the City Clerk at agenda@bozeman.net. Hard copy proposals must be accepted by the City Clerk no later than 5:00 PM on March 27, 2017 at the City Clerk’s office located on the second floor of Bozeman City Hall at 121 North Rouse Ave. Hard copy proposals shall be presented in a neat and orderly fashion. Digital or e-mailed proposals shall be combined into 1 single PDF. Separate links and attachments will not be reviewed. Responses received after 5:00 PM on this date will not be considered.
