I am writing to express my concerns regarding the SoBo Pizza Hut Project on Babcock St. This appears to
be another example of a project that is too large for its space and one that will have significant impact
on the existing neighborhood. As with the proposed Black Olive Project, it has too many units and will
add a large number of cars to the area, adding to congestion. This is another example of Bozeman
residents accepting the benefits of infill in our community, but questioning the scale of some of the
proposed projects. Is infill good if it greatly detracts from the quality of life in existing neighborhoods?
If the builders of some of these projects were willing/able to scale down the projects (3 stories rather
than five) and provide adequate parking for the tenants they would find much less opposition.
Please forward my concerns to the DRB.
