Message: Hello and hank you for serving our sweet city. I'm writing today for 2 reasons: 1. water
wasting regulations: last summer, my neighbors left for the weekend and their sprinkler ran non-
stop for 3 days. This pattern was repeated a handful more times and I was surprised to find that
Bozeman has no regulations on water wasting. I recently attended the MSU ag panel (featuring
Jon Tester) and lack of water is the PRIMARY concern for farmers. I urge you to consider water
wasting regulations so that people have a little more impetus to remember to turn off hoses and
sprinklers etc. I ran out of room so will send my second thought in a separate email. thanks for
