Message: Dear Commissioners, I would like for you to consider a moratorium or "pause" in
approving large scale residential projects in the B3 zone until further investigation of impacts to
surrounding neighborhoods and businesses can be conducted. We are currently in the process of
updating the Bozeman Strategic Plan, ADU, STR, UDC, and TMP; all are guiding policies to our
growth. The Black Olive is the first of these large residential projects setting precedent for a long
list of others. We need to do this well. Let me use Map Brewing as an example of following the
rules without considering growth"s impacts and the resulting parking issues. I am particularly
concerned that the Black Olive will become a de facto hotel if we are not careful with how we
address STR's. This is a discussion that we have not had with concerns to Black Olive .
