Message: I would like to request on behalf of many Bozeman residents that the City Commission
declare Bozeman a sanctuary city, in response to recent acts by federal authorities that violate
human rights and intrude on city / state efforts to keep their residents safe. This country was
founded on the ideals of religious and political freedom. We ourselves, have all been refugees or
immigrants to this country at one point or another. I hate to think that people from other states or
countries would think of Bozeman as a place of hate. Please vote for love, vote for inclusion, for
for equality. Granting sanctuary status sends a message to the world that we are the welcoming
