The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the
Commission Room, City Hall Building, Wednesday, June 20th, 1962 at 1:00
o'clock p.m. Present were Mayor Staudaher, Commissioner Morrow, City
Manager Cutting, City Attorney Berg and the Clerk. I
The following proceedings were had:
Minutes of the last regular session were read and it was moved by
Commissioner Morrow, seconded by Mayor Staudaher, that the minutes be
approved as read and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No
vo te : those voting Aye being Mayor Staudaher and Commissioner Morrow;
those voting No, none. .,
Continuation Certificate -- Anderton Electric (Electricians Bond)
A continuation certificate for the renewal of the Electricians Bond of
Anderton Electric was presented. The certificate was approved as to form
by the City Attorney and it was moved by Mayor Staudaher, seconded by Commis-
sioner Morrow, that the certificate be approved and the motion was carried
by the fOllowing Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Staudaher
and Commissioner Morrow; those voting No, none.
Authority to Travel -- Firemen's Convention
Notice has been received that the Firemen's Convention is scheduled to I
be held in Havre, June 26-30, 1962. Upon the recommendation of the City
Manager it was moved by Commissioner Morrow, seconded by Mayor Staudaher,
tha t, it being in the public interest, Lt. Herbert Hoey be authorized to
attend the convention and the expense incurred for his attendance be paid
out of the General fund. The motion was carried by the following Aye and
No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Staudaher and Commissioner Morrow;
those voting No, none.
Reports
The following reports for the month of May were presented:

The City Manager commented on the reports and recommended their approval.
It was moved by Mayor Staudaher, seconded by Commissioner Morrow, tha t the
reports be approved and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the fol-
lowing Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Staudaher and Commis-
sioner Morrow; those voting No, none.
Agreement -- Joseph May, 1431 S. 4th Ave. (Building Permit) I

A letter received from the 3ecreta~y of the Board of Adjustment and
addressed to the Commission was presente~ It sta ted,the Board of Adjustment
had granted an appeal filed by Joseph J. 'ap~ ~une- B. May to construct a
,
garage on their property at 1431 S. 4th Avenue, contingent on the approval
and execution of an agreement between the City and the Mays that in the event

Lincoln Road is reopened the garage would be relocated to conform with the
zoning ordinances and regulations of the City. The City Manager presented
the agreement and concurred in the action of the board of Adjustment. It
WaS moved by Commissioner Morrow, seconded by Mayor Staudaher, that the Ci ty
I enter into the agreement and that the Mayor and Clerk of the Commission be
authorized and directed to sign for the City. The motion was carried by the
following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Staudaher and
Commissioner Morrow; those voting No, none.
Bozeman Creek Reservoir Company -- Extension of Corporate Existence
The City Manager reported that stockholders of the Bozeman Creek
Reservoir Company desire to extend the term of its corporate existence for

an additional period of forty (4U) years effective as of June 27, 1962. It
was moved by Mayor Staudaher, seconded by Commissioner Morrow, that the Ci ty
Manager be designated as the official representative of the City and in his
capacity as a member of the Board of Directors, be authorized and directed
to execute any and aLl documents required for extending the corporate life
of the Bozeman Creek Reservoir Company for a period of forty (4U) years.
The motion was carried by tne following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye
being Mayor Staudaher and Commissioner Morrow; those voting No, none.
Adjournment
I There being no furtner business to come before tne Commission at this
time it was moved by Commissioner Morrow, seconded by Mayor Staudaher, that
the meeting adjourn. The motion was carried by the following Aye and No
vo te : those voting Aye being Mayor Staudaher and Commissioner Morrow; those
vo ting No, none.
