Message: I hear the city staff is recommending allowing food trucks on Main. Having spent
about a million dollars putting in a food business I will be stunned if you choose to go this route.
Commerce has no place in our limited parking spaces, nor should our taxes pay for asphalt for
folks to compete with us. Allowing commerce on Main, in the right of way, will be seen by us
business folks as a stab in the back and a betrayal, just to avoid making the tough call.
