The Com!nlssion of the Ci ty of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission
Room, City Hall Building, Wednesday, January 10, 1962 at l:uO o'clock P.M. Pre-
sent were Mayor Staudaher, Commissioner Sedivy, Commi:'l~ioner Morrow, City Manager
I Cutting, City Attor!1ey Berg, Ass't. City Manager l"ryslle and the Clerk.
The fOllowing proceedings were had:
Minutes of the last regular session were read and it was moved,by Commissioner
Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Morrow, that the minutes be approved as read and
the motion was c8I'ried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being
Mayor Staudaher, Commissioner Sedivy and Commis sioner rJorrow; those voting
No, none.
Examination of Depository Bonds
The Commission proceeded to examine the Custodian's Receipts for Depository
Bonds held by the Director of Finance as security for C1ty funds deposited in
Bozeman banks. It was moved by Commissioner Morrow, s econcled by Commi. s s ioner
Sedivy, that the securities be approved and a list thereof be set forth in full
in the minutes of this meeting and the motion was carrled by the fOLlowing Aye
and No vote: those v otlng Aye being Mayor Staudaher, Commissioner Morrow and
Commissioner Sedivyj those voting No, none.

Public Hear:tng -- Special Improvement Lighting District No. 423 (s. Black Ave.)
This was the time and place as set by Commission Resolution No. lu36 to hear
protests to the creation of Special Improvement Lighting District No. 423. Affi-
davit of pu~licatlon of Notice, together with the Clerk's ~aillng Certificate
s ta ting tho. t all property owners wi thln the dis tric t had been notified as required I
by law were presented. No written protests were on file and no one appeared to
protest the creation or the extent of the district. The City Manager recommended
that the district be created. The City Attorney, as instructed, had prepared a
resobltlon creating Special Improvement Lighting District No. 423. Reso 1u tion

Opening of Bids -- Addressing Machine
This was the time and place set for opening bids for the purchase of 8TI

Report -- Civil Defense Meeting (Livingston - 1/9/62)
Ass't. CltylTanager .r'ryslie reported on the proceedings of the Civjl Defense
meet!ng conducted at Livingston, January 9, 1902. Accompanying hi~ to tile meeting
were Commiss loner !\1orrow, City Engineer Liquin, Fire Chief Pentt:ila and Chiof of
Police Saunders. Tne purpose of the meeting was to brief public officials in regard
