Commissioner Langohr, City Manager Cutting, Ass't City Manager Fryslie, r.ity Attorney Berp- and the Clerk. It was also noted that Commissioner Morrow would be attending the Meeting as President of the Montana Municipal League. Tl~ City Manager recommended that the City comply with the request and it was moved by Commissioner Langohr, second0d by (~ommissioner Morrow that the cancellation of the bond be approved as of this rlate and the motion ,l7as carried by the following Aye and r-w vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr, Commissioner Morrow and Mayor Sedivy; those voting No, none. Authority to attend Fire Chiefs' Heeting & ,,;rorkshop: 10~11 December - Chief Heber and As,:;'!: Chief Hoey: I t was reported tha t a Mid Winter Meeting and Workshop of the Montana Fire Chiefs' is scheduled to be held in Helena, 10-ll December 1966, and in concurrence with the recommendation of the Fire Chief and the City Manager, it was moved by Commissioner Morrow, seconded by COITm1issioner Lan?,ohr, that Fire Chief Huber and Ass't Fire Chire Hoey be authorized to attend the school ann, it be.ing in the public interest, their expenses be paid from the General fund, and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Morrow, Commissioner Langohr and Hayor Sedivy; those voting No, none. Sedivy reported he will be unalbe to attend the National League of City's Annual Meetinf?: schl"duled to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, 2-7 December 1966, due to a conflict with his responsibility for directing the Montana State Univerwity Band at the Camellia Bowl Football game at Sacramento, California. Mayor Sedivy then made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Morrow, that Comm- issioner Langohr be authorizerl to attenn the Las Vegas meeting and, it being in the !",ublic intf'rest, jos expenses be paid from the general fund. It was reported the League. of Women Voters have scheduled its State Convention to be held 21-22 April 1%7 ann requested authority to hold the Convention in the Commission Room of the City Hall Building, Bozeman, Montana. In concurrence with the recommendation of the City Manager, it was moved by Commissioner Morrow, seconded by Connnissioner Langohr, that this au thori ty be granted I and fee for the use of the Commission Room be waived in this instance and also that this action is not to be construed as a precedent in consideration of future requests of this nature.
