Tetra Tech Task Order for Mitigation SystemsCommission Memorandum REPORT TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commission FROM: Rick Hixson, City Engineer SUBJECT: Tetra Tech Task Order - Inspection of Residential Mitigation Systems AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent MEETING DATE: January 23, 2017 RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the City Engineer to sign the attached Task Order with Tetra Tech for ongoing inspection of the residential mitigation systems in Bridger Creek Phase 3. BACKGROUND: For a period of three years the City of Bozeman is obligated to test, repair and maintain in-home vapor mitigation systems installed in homes in Bridger Creek Phase 3. The attached Task Order formalizes an agreement between the City of Bozeman and Tetra Tech to perform all necessary testing, repair, maintenance, and reporting for the next year, with an option to continue the required services until June 27, 2019. UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None. FISCAL EFFECTS: The contract price for services provided between now and June 27, 2017 is $36,453.00. This will be paid for out of solid waste funds dedicated to this purpose. ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by the City Commission.
