Others present: Carson Taylor- City Commission Liaison, (2 guests – Dillon- did you get their names?)

A. Call meeting to Order

a. Note from Bill Klundt – New BPD bike volunteer.
A student attended with his father as part of a class assignment to observe a city advisory
board.

D. 2016 Calendar Preview - Dillon
a. Areas of interest and feedback for a final edition
E. 2015 Bike Counts – Zach, Rebecca. Zach is working on filling in missing data. Numbers will be
compiled in the next couple of weeks.
F. Bike Map Revisions –Jason was not in attendance, so no updates. Sam will check to see if Jason
contacted map designers regarding updating files.

G. Outreach/Education
a. Ask Library for space for classes in April, May, or June
b. Revise Driver’s Ed – Jen, Sam, Rebecca on subcommittee to work on this. No new updates.
c. January 11th City Comission Meeting – Dillon. BABAB will plan for presentation to City
commission Feb 29th on recent accomplishments and requests, High points from 2015
d. Plan for 2016
H. Bike to Work Week
a. What should we tell GVBC? Dillon Warn will meet GVBC president to discuss how to
transition.
I. Old Business
Steve met with County about TV. There are 2 TVs in the City/County building. One is maintained
and contracted through Penguin Network; the content on this TV is, generally, paid marketing. A
15 second video could be played a few times per hour for between $200-400. The second TV is
controlled by the County Health Department. Toni (582-3100) is responsible for the TV and its
content. It could play a video on a loop at no charge. Draw backs are that there is no sound for
that TV and it is off to the side by the stairs and will not receive the same viewing as the Penguin
network TV.
J. New business
Make a request to Bozeman’s new Mayor, Carson Taylor to take part in the Mayors Challenge,
which has been extended to 2016. www.transportation.gov/mayors-challenge
