HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-03-15 497 Bozeman, Montana 15 Harch 1967 The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall Building, Wednesday, 15 March 1967, at 1:00 o'clock p.m. Present were Mayor Sedivy, Comm- issioner Langohr, City Manager Cutting, Ass't City Manager Fryslie, City Attorney Berg and the I Clerk. Mayor Sedivy opened the meeting with a prayer and the following proceedings were had: Minutes of the regular session held, Wednesday, 8 March 1967, were read and it was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Mayor Sedivy, that the minutes be approved as corrected and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr and Mayor Sedivy; those voting No, none. The motion was carried by the follow- ing Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr and Mayor Sedivy; those voting No, none. I a n i._.9J?_~E~t.9-~__: It was announced that the American Water Works Association and the Water Pollution Control Association Convention is scheduled to be held in Billings, 16-18 March 1967, and in concurrence with the recommendation of the City Manager, it was moved by Mayor Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the City Engineer, the Water Superintendent and the Sewage Disposal Plant Operator be au thorizec1 to attend the convention and, it being i.n the public interest, their expenses be charged to the appropriate City funds and the motion was carried . . . The City Manager in concurr- I ence with the City County Planning Board, recommended that the plat be approved. In accordance with the recommendation of the Civil Service Board, the City Manager announced the promotion of Sergeant Dorman to Lieutenant, Patrolman Johnson and Patrolman McDowell to Serg- eants in the Police Department of the City of Bozeman effective as of Wednesday, 8 March 1967. City Building Inspector Donald Barrick reported on his attendance at the 8th Annual Meeting of the Building Officials held in Pocatel1o, Idaho, 6-10 February 1967. His report consisted of a complete resume of the program and the value received therefrom, particularly in regard to I discussion of building code changes. It was moved by Mayor Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that Mr. Barrick be highly commended for the completeness of his report and the way in which it was presented and that it be accepted and approved and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Sedivy and Commissioner Langohr; those voting No, none.
