I Ma YOI' Morrow opened the mee ting with a prayer and t he following pro ceedings were had. Minutes of the last regular session held Wednesday, 19 May 1965, were read and it was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, tha t the minutes be approved as read and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Morrow, Commissioner Sedivy and Commissioner Iangohr; those vo ting No, non e. Minutes of the Special Meeting held Monday, 24 May 1965, were read and it was moved by Commissioner langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, thB. t the minutes be a"lproved as read and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No votes: Those voting Aye being Mayor Morrow, Commissioner Sedivy and Commissioner LangohI'; those voting No, none. Plat - Gallatin County Rest Home Addition - Inclucling Annexation (Cont'd.) The final plat of the Gallatin County Rest Home was presented for further discussion. It was reported that the three points of deficiency had been revised and corrections of the indicated area of the plat ad park dedications were com- I pleted. 'I'he Acting Ci ty Manager recommended tha t the pIa t be approved and the City Manager be authorized to sign the plat as Director of Public Service along with the Mayor and the City Commission and that too County Rest Home addition be annexed into the City. It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commis s1 oner Lan?,ohr, that the final plat of the Gallatin COlmtyRest Home be approved as recommended by the Acting City Manager and the motion was carried. . . . . Ordinance No. 850. Vaca tion Hemlock St. & Adjacent Alleys - Pinal Passage & Adoption. Ordinance No. 850 provisionally passed and adopted by the Comm1 ssion at its last regular meeting, 19 May 1965, vacating Hemlock Streets and Adjacent Alleys was presen ted. ORDINANCE NO. 850 AN ORDINANCE OF' THE CITY OP BOZE1MN VACATING A ONE BLOCK SECTION OF HEMLOCK STREET BETWEEN NORTH ROTTSE AVENUE AND NORTH CHURCH AVENUE, AND ALL OF THE DE- DICATED ALLEYS IN BLOCK 114 AND 115 OF THE NORTHERN PACI FIC ADDITION TO T HE C I'IY Ol" BOZEMAN. The Acting City Manager recommended that the Ordinance be finally passed and I adopted. It was moved by Commissi.oner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the orrHnance No. 850 be f'inally passed and adopted ad the motion was calrried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Morrow, Commissioner ~edivy, and Commissioner Langohr; those voting No, none. Reouest to vacate 'portLm of Koch .:-.)treet - 19th and 20th Ave. Marguerite _K~rk. A request from Marguerite Kirk to vacate a portion of Koch Street between 19th and 20th Avenue in Kirk's 1st Subdivision was presented. , ", 173 Following a discussion of this renuest, the Acting Ci ty Manager recommended the request be tabled for cons idera tion & recommenda tion by t he Planning Board and also to give the Commission time to study it further. Park-Recrea tion Board - Recommenda ti on Re: P la ttinp; Kirk's 4th Subdi vi si on. Glen White, Recreational Director was present to report tha t from ill th Avenue I west and from Babcock south is being subdivided and that the City of Bozeman is to receive approximately 5.634 acres of land in this area for park purposes. The Park Recreation Board, at its meeting May 20th, 1965, recommended that the City accept property in this area by deed conveyence and giving the developer first opportunity ,to purchase the park land if, in the fu ture, it should be put tip for sale by the City. The Acting City Manager concurred with the recommendation of the Park Board and it was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, tha t the Park Recrea tion Board's recommenda tlon be concurred in with deta ils to be resolved wi th considera tion of the final pIa t of Kirk's Fourth Subdi vision and the motion wa s carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Morrow, Commissioner Sedivy and Commissioner Langohr; those voting No, none. License Bonds: Continuation - Palmquist Electric Company, Helena Mannix Electric, Inc~, Bozeman In Compliance with Chapter 16, of the Bozeman Municipal Code, the certificates to continue the Electrical bond of Palmquist Electric Company, Helena, Montana was presented. The Acting City Manager stated the Building Inspector had approved the I continua ti(m of the bond and the certificate was approved as to form by the City Attorney. In Compliance wi th Chapter 16, of the Bozeman MuniCipal Code, the Electrical Bond of Mannix Electric, In c . , Bozeman, Montana, was presented. The Acting City Manager stated the Build1.ng Inspector had approved the continuation of the bond and the cert1.ficate was approved as to form by the City Attorney. It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissi oner Langohr, that the continuation of the aforementioned bond be approved and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Mayor Morrow, Commissioner Sedivy and Commissioner Lang ohr ; those vo ting No, none. Director of Finance Direator of Public Service I The Acting City Manager commented on the reports and recommended their approval.
