HomeMy WebLinkAbout1964-12-02 64 Bozemanl Montana Deoember 2, 1964 The Commission of tne City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall Building, Wednesday, 2 December 1964, at 1:00 O'CLOOK P.M. Present were Mayor Morrow, Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr, City Manager Cutting, Ass't City, Manager Fryslie, City Attorney Berg and the Clerk. Commissioner Langohr opened the meeting with a pray'er and the fOLlowing proceedings were had: Minutes of the last regular session were read and it was moved by Comm- issioner SedivYI seconded by Mayor Morrow that the minutes be approved as read and the motion was carried by the fOllowing Aye and No vote: Voting Aye, Mayor Morrow, Coml"1:l.ssioner Sedlvy and Commissioner, Langohri Voting No: None. Cormnissioner Sedivy Excused from Regular Meetings: It was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Mayor Morrow that Commissioner Sedi vy be excused from the Regular meetings of the City Commission on the ~th and 16th of December to attend a NationaL Conference in Washingtonl D.C. as a Delegate from the Montana Music Emlcators Association and the motion was carried by the folLowing Aye and No vote: Voting Aye, Mayor Morrow, ComnisslonerLangohr; Voting no; None. Third Ar:nual Mayor's Prayer Breakfast: Attorney DougLas Drysdale, in his capacity as Chairman of the Citizens Commi ttee appeared to present a resolution of the Galla tin County CommisSioners designating FridaYI December 41 1964, at 6:3U A.M. as the day for holding the third Annual Mayor's Prayer Breakfast and to present Mayor Morrow with complimentary tickets. Walton Right of Way - S.l.D. #432': (Court award $3,500 depreciation, $525.00 value of land.) City Attorney Berg gave a report on the outcome of the Water Right-of-Way condemnation case in which the jury in District Court made the fOllowing award. It was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the reports be approved and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: Voting Aye, Mayor Morrow, Commissioner Sedivy and CommiSSioner Langohr; voting No: None.
