Authority to Attend State Planning Meeting: It was reported a meeting of tne Directors & Legis.Lative Committees of the State Planning Board Association was scnedu.Led for Helena on Friday, December .Ll, 1964. The City Manager recommended Harold Korslund, President of the Bozeman City & County ~.Lanning Board and possibly two other be authorized to attend this meeting and the expenses paid from the Planning Fund. It was moved by Mayor Morrow and seconded by Commissioner Langobr the autnorization to attend the meeting on Friday be So approved, and the motion wasCJarried by the following Aye and No vote: Voting Aye, Mayor Morrow and Commissioner Langhor; Voting no; None. Cancellation - Surety Bond - H. Dean Moore The Surety B0nd of Dean Moore, retiring Water COllector and Cashierl was presented for canee.Ua tion and a refund is to be requested. Upon recommendation of the City Managerl it was moved by Mayor Morrow and seconded by Commissioner Langohr tnat the bond be cancelled effective December 1, 1964, and the motion was carried by the fOllowing Aye and No vote: Voting Aye~ Mayor Morrow and Commissioner Langohr; voting No; None. No. 427 - No. lOth Ave. Paving Having_ reported that all work was completed on North luth Avenue on October 121 19641 it was recommended by the conSUltant engineers and The City Engineer that work under contract be approved and accepted. In concurrence, ~he City Manager also recommended that the proviSions of the contract for the assessment of penaLties for overrun of the contract time limit be waived and all known claims against the contractor having been paid. final payment be authorized when Claims are pre- sented in proper form. After discussion it was moved by Commissioner Langohr and seconded by Mayor Morrow that the project be tabled for further study.
