The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, Municipal
Building, 18 February 1970, at 1:00 o'clock P.M. Present were Mayor Langohr, Commissioner Sedivy,
City Manager Fryslie, Ass't. City Manager Key s, City Attorney Berg and the Clerk.
I Commissioner Sedivy opened the meeting with a prayer and following proceedings were had.
Minutes of the regular session held 11 February 1970 were read and it was moved by Commissioner
Morrow, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the minutes be approved as read and the motion was
carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Morrow, Commissioner
Sedivy and Mayor Langohrj those voting No, none.
Hearing Resolution No. 1426 Annexation 10.119 acres N. Seventh-Baxter Lane - Res. 1427 - Annexation:
During the regular session of the City Commission held on 21 January, 1970, the Commission
regularly passed and adopted Commission Resolution No. 1426, declaring its intention to extend the
boundaries of the City of Bozeman so as to include 10.119 Acres lying in the West onehalf of the
Northeast onequarter (W\NE~) of Section 1, Township 2 South, Range 5 East, MPM, Gallatin County,
Montana, lying west of North Seventh Avenue. This being the date for public hearing as set forth
in said Commission Resolution No. 1426, affidavit of publication of Notice and the Clerks mailing
certificate stating that all property owners had been notified as required by law was presented.
There being no written protests and no one present to protest the annexation of the above property,
Commission Resolution No. 1427 to accomplish the requested extension of the City Limits and complete
the action was presented entitled:

A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN EXTENDING
THE BOUNDARIES OF THE SAID CITY OF BOZEMAN SO AS TO EMBRACE AND
INCLUDE CERTAIN TRACTS OF LAND CONTIGUOUS TO THE SAID CITY OF
BOZEMAN AND HEREIN MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED, WITHIN THE COR-
PORATE LIMITS THEREOF.
It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Morrow, that the Resolution be
passed and adopted and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye
being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Morrow and Mayor Langohr: those voting No, none
Transfer Beer License - E. L. Sullivan to Joe Wantulok:

It was moved by Commissioner M rrow, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the application for
"
transfer of the Beer License from Mr. E. L. Sullivan to Mr. Joe Wsntulot new owner of Joel; Parkway
grocery as per their request and in accordance with Chapter 4.04.060 of the Bozeman Municipal Code
be approved and the Director of Finance be directed to issue s license in accordance therewith and
the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Morrow,
Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Langohr; those voting No, none.
Mountain Meadows Subdivision - Final Plat:
The final plat of the Mountain Meadows Subdivision for the West half of the Southwest quarter
I of Section 16, Township 2 South, Range 6 East, M.P.M., City of Bozeman, was presented along with a
favorable recommendation from the Bozeman City-County Planning Board, also concurred in by the Board
of Public Recreation. Foulowing a thorough discussion of the Plat, the City Manager concurred in the
recommendation of the City-County Planning Board and the Board of Public Recreation and it was moved
by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Morrow, that the subject plat be approved and that
the City Manager be authorized and directed to sign the plat as Director of ~blic Service and the
motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy,
Commissioner Morrow and Mayor Langohr; those voting No, none.

License Bonds: J. W. Tschache - Gasfitter, Claude Willson - Gasfitter:
In compliance with Chapter 16 of the Bozeman Municipal Code, the Gasfitter License Bonds of
J. W. Tschache, Bozeman and Claude Wilson, Bozeman, was presented. The City Manager stated the
Building Inspector had recommended the approval of the above mentioned bonds and the City Attorney
has approved the bonds as to form. It was moved by Commissioner Morrow, seconded by Commissioner
Sedivy, that the bonds be approved and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote, II
those voting Aye being Commissioner Morrow, Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Langohr; those voting No. none.
Examination of Depository Bonds:
In compliance with the provisions of Section 16-2618, R.C.M., 1947. the City Commission pro-
ceeded to examine the receipts of Depository Bonds and Securities held by the Director of Finance
as security for City funds deposited in Bozeman banks. It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, se-
conded by Commissioner Morrow, that the securities be approved and a list thereof be set forth in
full in the minutes of the meeting and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote:

This is to Certify that we, the Commission of the City of Bozeman, in compliance
with the Provisions of Section 16-2618 R.C.M., 1947, have this day examined the receipts
of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, the Northwestern National Bank of Minneapolis,
the Marquette National Bank of Minneapolis, and the National Bank of Commerce of Seattle,
for the Depository Bonds held by the Director of Finance as security for the deposit for
the City of Bozeman funds by the several banks of Bozeman and find them to be as above
stated, are hereby accepted and approved.
