A. Call to Order ‐ 7:30 AM – Madison Room, City Hall 121 North Rouse
Dennis called the meeting to order.
B. Disclosures of Ex Parte Communication
There were no disclosures of ex parte communication.
C. Changes to the Agenda
There were none.
D. Approval of November 2016 minutes
a. See Attachment Exhibit 1
Kelly motioned to approve the November 2016 minutes. Pamela seconded the motion with
the correction of Cory’s attachment to public comments.

E. Public Comment – Members of the audience or their agent may be invited to present testimony or
evidence. To be recognized, each person desiring to give testimony or evidence shall step forward and, after
being recognized, give their name and address for the record. The presiding officer may establish a time frame
for each public comment but in no case shall such timeframe be less than three (3) minutes per speaker. The
presiding officer may lengthen or shorten the time allotted for public testimony.

F. Action Items
a. Rate Policy Discussion – Exhibit 2 (Naumann)
Chris went over the timeline of which the rates should be reviewed. A discussion
ensued and the draft will be revised to incorporate the suggested changes.
b. Election of Officers (Bechtold)
Officers are selected each per the BPC guidelines. Dennis announced that he would
not be renewing his application when his term expired in June. Ben Bennett
motioned for Dennis to remain as the chair until June 2017, the end of his term. His
motion also kept Chris to be Vice Chairman and Ben Bennett as third officer to serve
on the Executive Committee. Kelly seconded this motion.

G. Acting Parking Manager Report
a. Parking Manager hiring update
Final two applicants are being interviewed December 12, 2016.
b. CIP Update
All parking lots in FY22 have been moved to unscheduled at this time.
c. Garage access control issues
Camera system is in the process of being updated. The next step is to update the
garage gate system and the handhelds and software the officer’s and Finance use.
New Business.
There was no new business however Chuck stated that the agenda will all come in separate
documents instead of one large one. Also the minutes will be posted on the website the Friday
before the meeting.
H. Adjournment.
Dennis adjourned the meeting at 9:32am.
The next Bozeman Parking Commission meeting will be held January 12th, 2017 at 7:30am at City
Hall.
