HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-12-31 448 Bozeman, Montana 31 December, 1969 The Commission of the City of Bo~eman met in regular session in the Commission Room, Municipal Building, 3l December, 1969, at 1:00 o'clock p.m. Present were Mayor Morrow, Commission Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr, City Manager Fryslie, Ass;t. City Manager Keyes, City Attorney Berg and the Clerk. In con- currence with the recommendation of the City Manager, it was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the above applications be approved and the Director of Finance be directed to issue license in accordance therewith and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none. Sour DOl~ Creek_Property Subdivision No.4: The final plat of Subdivision No.4 Sour Dough Creek prperty was presented along with the favorable recommendation from the City-County Planning Board. Following a discussion and noting that this plat conformed generally with the master plat of this area and the park requirements having been satisfied by Williams Park located in Subdivision No.4, the City Manager recommended that the plat be approved as presented. It was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the plat be approved as recommended and that the City Manager be authorized and directed to sign the plat as the Director of Public Service and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: Those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr, Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, eone. !i..ou..E....Q..o~~~ree ~~Proper tL~ubd i v i.:~_ion ~NO_~2: The final plat of subdivision No. 5 Sour Dough Creek Property was presented along with the favorable recommendation from the City-County Planning Board. The City Manager in concurrence with the City-County Planning Board recommended that the plat be approved as presented and it was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the plat be approved and that the City Manager be authorized and directed to sign the plat as the Director of public service and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none. ~~o~.l.C1E..1..C1_tJ::;~~~._.~lien.Address Report Man t" - JailUary ):.210: Mayor Morrow announced his proclamation of the month of January 1970, as "Alien Address Report Month" in Bozeman and requested all citizens, employees, and other officers of the City of Bozeman to assist and encourage every alien within the City of Bozeman to report his address at I I I I I I the nearest Post Office or Immigration and Naturalization Service Office during the month of January, 1970. It was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the proclamation be endorsed and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr, Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none. ~eports for November; The Following reports were presented for November: Casier Director of Finance Director of Public Service The City Manager commented on the reports and recommended their approval. It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the reports be approved and ordered filed and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commiss- ioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none. .fJ._I2~l.A(:_c:..~_E..t:..<l.!:' c ~._.~n5!..__.:r~3_T!.!._:...1~ t e r W 0 r~s Be t te rme n t Pro j e c t:. : The certificate of the engineer of Thomas, Dean and Hoksins, Inc., on the Water Works Better- ment Project stating the construction has been completed in accordance with the terms and stipulations given in the plans and specifications except for several items noted on the Final Check List dated 29 December, 1969, was presented. The City Manager concurred in the recommendation of the engineers and recommended that the project be accepted and approved and final payment to the contractor be authorized with the condition that the Contractor deposit a certified check with the City in the amount of $700.00 to cover the expenses for cleanup and completion of the items on the final check list. It was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that as recommended, the project be accepted and the Director of Finance be directed to issue a warrant in payment of the same and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr, Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.
