MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COMMISSION
The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in Special Session pursuant to Call by the City
Manager in the City Hall Building, Monday, 11 August 1969, at 9:30 o'clock a.m. Present were
Mayor Morrow, Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr, City Manager Fryslie and theClerk when
the proccedings were had:
It was reported by the City Manager that this special meeting was called to discuss and set
the tax levy for the year 1969-1970 in accordance with Section 11-1406 (5) R.C.M., 1947.

Resolution No. 1410 setting the tax levy at 54.0 mills for the year 1969-1970 was presented,

A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN DETERMINING
THE AMOUNT OF CITY TAXES FOR ALL PURPOSES, GENERAL AND SPECIAL, TO
BE LEVIED AND ASSESS ON TAXABLE PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
STATE OF MONTANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE, 1970.
It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the resolution be
passed and adopted and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye
being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.
Increase of Garbage Base Rate Assessment:
The City Manager stated that a basic rate of $20.00 for garbage collection for a four room
house has been in effect since 1967 and that it has been determined that a basic rate of $22.00 for
the current calender year of 1969 would be required to pay present operational costs and to maintain
the service of garbage collection and land fill disposal. In concurrence with the recommendation of
the City Manager, it was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the
basic rate of $20.00 for garbage collection and disposal be increased to $22.00 for a four room
house and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: thos voting Aye being Commiss-
ioner Langohr, Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.
Adjournment:
There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it was moved by
Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the meeting be adjourned and the motion
was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting
