The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall
Building, Wednesday, 13 August 1969, at 1:00 o'clock p.m. Present were Mayor Morrow, Commissioner
Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr, City Manager Frys1ie, Ass't. City Manager Keyes, Acting City Attorney
Angel and the Clerk.
Commissioner Sedivy opened the meeting with a prayer and the following proceedings were had:
Minutes of the regular session held 6 August 1969 were read and it was moved by Commissioner
Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the minutes be approved as read and the motion was
carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr, Commissioner
Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.
Minutes of the Special meeting held 11 August 1969 were read and it was moved by Commissioner
Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the minutes of the Special Meeting be approve as read
and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner
Langohr, Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.

This was the time and place set for receiving bids for the construction of the Waste Water
Treatment Plant, Volume 1 and 2 and the Sanitary Sewer, Volume 1 and 2. Affidavit of publication
of "Notice to Bidders" was presented. It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner
Langohr, that the bids be opened and read and the motion was carried by. the following Aye and No
vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow; those
voting No, none.

In concurrence with the recommendation of the City Manager, it was moved by Commissioner
Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the bids be referred to engineers representing
Consultant Thomas, Dean & Hoskins, Inc., to check in detail, prepare tabulations and make recommend-
ations in regard to the lowest and best bids for the construction of the new Waste Water Treatment
Plant and Sanitary Sewer and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting
Aye being Commissioner Langohr, Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.
Re~j~lation: Police Jud~ichard J. Andriolo:
The letter submi tted by Richard J. Andriolo resigning as Police Judge of the City of Bozeman
to be effective 1 September 1969 was again presented following a week of consideration.
It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the Commission

accept the resignation of Richard J. Andriolo as Police Ju~ with regret and procced to accept

applications to fill the facancy as of 1 September 1969 and the motion was carried by the following
Aye and No.vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow;

LEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT OF TAXES UPON ALL THE
PROPERTY IN SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 486 IN THE CITY OF
BOZEMAN, COUNTY OF GALLATIN, STATE OF MONTANA, TO DEFRAY THE
COST OF CONSTRUCTING AND MAKING THE IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN SAID
SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 486.
It was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the resolution be
provisionally passed and adopted and 20 August 1969, be set as the date for public hearing and the
motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr,
Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.

A letter received from Bruce Olson and Tom Ross of the Sigma Chi Fraternity requesting per-
mission to hold their annual Derby days function with all the sororities at Bogart's Grove on
Saturday, 25 October 1969, was presented. It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Comm-
issioner Langohr, that the request for holding the annual derby day program at Bogart Grove on
25 October, 1969, be approved contingent upon the petitioner pic,ing up and cleaning up the area
following the program and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye
being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.

The City Manager commented on the above reports and recommended their approval. It was moved
