The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall
Building, Wednesday. 20 August 1969. at 1:00 o'clock P.M. Present were mayor Morrow, Commissioner
Sedivy. Commissioner Langohr. City Manager Fryslie, Ass't. City Manager Keyes. City Attorney Berg
and the Clerk.
Commissioner Langohr opened the meeting with a prayer and the following proceedings were had:
Minutes of the regular session held 13 August 1969 were read and it was moved by Commissioner
Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the minutes be approved as read and the motion was
carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy. Commissioner
Langohr and Mayor MorroW; those voting No. none.
It was moved by Commissioner Langohr. seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the minutes of the
special meeting held on Tuesday, 19 August 1969. for the purpose of conducting the sale of the
$1,400,000 Revenue Bonds. be waived and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote:
those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr. Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting
No. none.

This was the time and place set for public hearing on levying final assessment for constru-
ction of Special Improvement District No. 486 in the final amount of $21.842.84. Affidavit of
publication of Notice was presented. No one protested in person and there being no written protests
filed. Resolution No. 1411 was presented for final passage. It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy,
seconded by Commissioner Langohr. that the resolution be finally passed and adopted and the motion
was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commiss-
ioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow; those voting No. none.

June 1970 was presented together with appropriation Ordinance No. 883, entitled:

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR EXPENDITURES DEEMED NECESSARY AND IN
ACCORDANCE WITH BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS FOR MAINTENANCE ETC., OF THE MUNICIPAL
GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN. MONTANA. FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING 30

A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN, MONTANA, LEVYING AND
ASSESSING A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT OF TAXES UPON ALL REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY
OF BOZEMAN, COUNTY OF GALLATIN, STATE OF MONTANA, SERVICED AND FROM WHICH
GARBAGE WAS COLLECTED AND REMOVED DURING THE YEAR 1969, TO DEFRAY THE COST
AND EXPENSE OF COLLECTING AND DISPOSING OF GARBAGE UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF
ORDINANCE NO. 696 OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN MUNICIPAL CODE.

Commission Resolution No. 1414 levying assessment in the total amount of $18,589.60 for the
various lighting districts for the year 1969 was presented, entitled:

The 47th Annual Building Officials Conference is scheduled to be held 1-5 September 1969,
Salt Lake City, Utah, and the City Manager recommended that the City Building Inspector, Mr. Don
Barrick, be authorized to attend the conference. It was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded
by Commissioner Sedivy, that, it being in the public interest, the City Building Inspector be
authorized to attend the conference and his expenses be paid out of the general fund and the motion
was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr, Comm-
issioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.

In compliance with Chapter 15 of the Bozeman Municipal Code, the Certificate for the Electrical
Bond of Harrington Home Appliance, Bozeman was presented. The City Manager stated the Building
Inspector had recommended the approval of the bond which has been approved as to form by the City
Attorney. It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the afore-
mentioned bond be approved and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those
voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.
