The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, City Hall
Building, Wednesday, 27 August 1969, at 1:00 p.m. Present were Mayor Morrow, Commissioner Sedivy,
Commissioner Langohr, City Manager Fryslie, Ass't City Manager Keyes, City Attorney Berg and the
Clerk.
Mayor Morrow opened the meeting with a prayer and the following proceedings were had:
Minutes of the regular session held 20 August 1969, were read and it was moved by Commissioner
Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the minutes be approved as read and the motion was
carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr, Commissioner
Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.
Minutes of the Special Meeting held 19 August 1969, were read and it was moved by Commissioner
Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the minutes be approved as corrected and the motion
was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commiss-
ioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.

This was the time and place set for hearing on levying assessment for the collection and dis-
posal of garbage for the year 1969 in the amount of $85,207.81. Affidavit of publication of Notice
was presented. No one was present to protest and no written protests having been filed, Resolution
No. 1413 was presented for final passage. It was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Comm-
issioner Sedivy, that the resolution be finally passed and adopted and the motion was carried by
the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr, Commissioner Sedivy,
and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.

year 1969 in the amount of $18,589.60. Affidavit of publication of Notice was presented. No one
was present to protest and no written protests having been filed, Resolution No. 1414, provisionally
passed and adopted at the regular session held 20 August 1969 was presented for final passage. In
concurrence \\lith the recommendation of the City Manager, it was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, se-
conded by Commissioner Langohr, that the resolution be finally passed and adopted and the motion
was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commiss-
ioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.

This was the time and place set for the public hearing on levying assessment for street sprink-
ling for the year 1969 in the amount of $6,408.58. Affidavit of publication of Notice was presented.
No one was present to protest and no written protests having been filed, Resolution No. 1415 was
provisionally passed and adopted at the regular session held 20 August 1969 was presented for final
passage. In concurrence with the recommendation of the City Manager, it was moved by Commissioner
Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the resolution be finally passed and adopted and the
motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr,
Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.

A request from several property owners for NO parking from 2:00 A.M. to 7:00 A.M. on the East
Side of 6th Avenue - Cleveland to Harrison Streets, both sides of 9th Avenue - College to Alderson
Street, both sides of 10th Avenue - College to Alderson Street and NO parking on the South side of
Dickerson - Tracy to Willson Avenue was presented. Following a thorough discussion and in concur-
rence with the recommendation of the Chief of Police, also concurred in by the City Manager, it was
moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the request be approved and the
motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr,
Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.
The City Manager was instructed to further study Automobile parking regulations along Cleve-
land Street from Willson Avenue to Eighth Avenue.

Mayor Morrow announced that the City Commission, complying with the provisions of Chapter 11-3271,
R.C.M., 1947, had appointed Thomas I Sabo of Bozeman as Police Judge to fill the vacancy created in
that office by the resignation of Richard J. Andriola. It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded
by Commissioner Langohr, that Mr. Sabots appointment as Police Judge for the City of Bozeman be
confirmed and his appointment become effective as of 1 September 1969 and the motion was carried
by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr
and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.

Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the meeting be adjourned and the motion
