City Manager Keyes, City Attorney Berg and the Clerk, and Commissioner Langohr. Commissioner Sedivy opened the meeting with a prayer and the following proceedings were had: Minutes of the regular session held 24 September 1969, were read and it was moved by Commiss- ioner Sedivy, seconded by Mayor Morrow, that the minutes be approved as read and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none. .~l2aring_llesol'2.!:..:i.:..on---,-No:~1417 -=-J\~s~si~ID No. 487 - Fifl_".ll.M.~tion: This was the time and place set for public hearing on levying final assessment for constru- ction of Special Improvement District No. 487 in the final amount of $76,856.65. Affidavit of publication of Notice was presented. No one protested in person and there being no written pro- tesffi filed, Resolution No. 1417 was presented for final passage. It was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the resolution be finally passed and adopted and the motion Has carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr, Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none. Flcaring Resolution No. lLd8 - Assessing SID No. 488 - Final Adoption: This was the time and place set for public hearing on levying final assessment for constru- ction of Special Improvement District No. 488 in the final amount of $29,901.50. The City Manager and Police Chief stated they had no information relative to the Village Inn Pizza Parlor that would warrant disapproval of the application. It was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the above application be approved therewith and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr, Comm- issioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none. A new gas service line to the Waste Water Treatment Plant will also/provided in the rearrangement of lines. Following a thorough discussion, the Commission concurred with the re- commendation of the City Manager and it was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the Easement Agreement be entered into and the $l,OOO.OO relocation partici- pation be approved by the City and the Mayor and the Clerk of the Commission be authorized and directed to sign the Easement for the City and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none. .? ro c l?'!!~<l..E5.g_1.l-=_",,__Io...?_~ tm ~'3..!.~..E~.~ Mo n ~~ . Mayor Morrow issued a proclamation designating the month of October as "Toastmasters Month" and urged all citizens to acquaint themselves with the unique educational opportunities offered by the Toastmasters International. It was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the proclamation as requested by the Local Toastmasters be approved and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr, Comm- issioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.
