Northeast Urban Renewal Board (NURB) Meeting

A. Call meeting to order – 6:30 p.m.
B. Changes to the Agenda
C. Public Comment – Please state your name and address in an audible tone of
voice for the record. This is the time for individuals to comment on matters falling
within the purview of the Committee. There will also be an opportunity in conjunction
with each action item for comments pertaining to that item. Please limit your
comments to three minutes.
D. Minutes – December 6, 2016
E. Discussion/Action Items
1. Presentation of Regional/Urban Design Team (RUDAT) project –
ThinkTank Architects
(Listen to presentation; possible motion and vote to or not to assist in
funding of project)
2. Introduction of Forrest Sanderson, KLJ, to Board (via telecon)
3. Review of previously budgeted monies for Aspen Street pedestrian
bridge; possible funding sources; permitting process and
project costs
4. Review of updated timeline for sale of bonds and completion of the
street designs and bidding documents for East Peach Street and
East Tamarack Street
5. Review of 30% design drawings for East Peach Street and East
Tamarack Street
6. Updates on current projects and updated project cost estimates –
KLJ
7. Staff updates on items of interest to the Board – Brit Fontenot
8. Update on financial status of NURB fund – Robin Sullivan
9. Accept resignation of Erik Nelson from Board, effective January 31,
2017
10. Election of Chair and Vice Chair for 2017
(May wish to delay until Commission has appointed new voting member)
11. Set agenda for February 7, 2017 meeting or cancel meeting
F. FYI/Discussion (formerly Neighborhood News)
