City Manager Fryslie, Ass't. City Manager Keyes, City Attorney Berg and the Clerk. Mayor Morrow opened the meeting with a prayer and the following proceedings \\Iere had: Minytes of the regular session held 7 May 1969 were read and it was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded hy Commissioner Sedivy. that the minutes be approved as read and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr and Commiss- ioner Sedivy; those voting No, none. It \\Ias moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the request be granted and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr and Hayor Morrow; those voting No, none. City Librarian Margaret Hileman gave an extensive report on her attendance and that of her Assistant, Katherine Fisher, at the Hontana Library Association Conference held in Billings, 8-10 May 1969. The Ci ty Manager concurred in the recommenda tion of th-e engineers and recommended that the proiect be accepted. that penalties for overrun of the contract time be waived and final payment made. Rapkoch, Secretary of the Bozeman Babe Ruth Baseball re- questing permission to conduct a City-wide "Booster Fund Drive" on Saturday, 24 May 1969, was pre- sented. Aanenson, First Vice President of the Bozeman Lions Club, Inc., requesting permission to reserve the dates of June 4 through June 8, for the presentation of the West Coast Shows was presented. It was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the ahove request be approved with a license fee consideration as a charitable project contingent upon approval of the site and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr, Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none. Proclamation: "Real torWeek'_~:-24 May 1969: Mayor Morrow announced his proclamation of 18-24 May 1969, as "Realtors Week" and urged all fellow citizens to join in honoring the Realtors of this community. It \\Ias moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the proclamation as requested by the Board of Realtors be approved and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none. Following a thorough discussion, it was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the plans submitted by the Gallatin Empire Garden Club be approved and that they be permitted to proceed with the projec t and tha t: they be highly commended for their significant contribution and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr, Commissioner Sedivy and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none.
