The affidavit of publication of the "Call for Bids" was presented. One sealed bid. was on file and it was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the bid of the S.E.C. Corporation, Billings, Montana, be opened and read and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: Those voting Aye being CommissIoner Sedivy, Cotmliissioner Langohr, and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none. S.E.C. Corporation Box 243 - Billings, Montana $10.85 per cwt. In view of the apparent shortage of this material, as evidenced by reports received from several chemical firms, the City Manager recommended that the bid of S.E.C. Corporation, Billings, Hontana, be accepted, it being the one bid submitted. It was moved by Commissioner Langohr, se- conded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the purchase of the material be awarded to S.E.C. The contract documents for the reconst'-uction of the diversion and i.ntake structures of Bozeman Creek and on Lyman Creek in connection with the Haterworks Betterment Project, as awarded Taylor to Robert/Construction of Bozeman, Montana, on 28 May 1969 were presented. The City Manager re- commended that the documents, approved as to form by the City Attorney be approved. It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded hy Commissioner Langohr, that the contract documents be approved and that the Mayor and the Clerk of the Commission be authorized and directed to sign the contract for the City of Rozema, that Robert Taylor Construct:l.on be authorized to proceed \-lith the constru- ction and that the pledge for bid security be returned to Robert Taylor Construction and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commiss- ioner Langohr; those voting No, none. .!leering 1;{eso_~t:..~<.?!0~~40~':..._~ Special Final Tax Levy - SID No. lf86 -__r:'Jn~~_ pas3_~e: This was the time and place set for public hearing on levying final assessment for constru- ction of Special Improvement District No. 486 in the final amount of $21,lf47.10. Upon recommendati.on of the Fire Chief and the City Manager, it was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that it being in the puhlic interest, Fire Chief Huber and Fireman Wruck be authorized to attend this conference and the expenses of the dele- gates incurred by such attendance be paid out of the General fund and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commisiooner Langohr, Commissioner Sedivy and "Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none. In compliance with Chapter 16 of the Bozeman Municipal Code, the plumber and gas fitter bonds of the Bingham Mechanical & Metal Products, Inc., were presented. The City Manager stated the Building Inspector had recommended the approval of the bonds and the City Attorney had approved the bonds as to form. It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the bonds be approved and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none. proclamatLon - "~'lomens I'leek" 16-20 June 19G9: The Hayor issued a proclamation designating the \<7eek of 16-20 June 1969, as "Womens Week" and urged all citizens to pay speciall attention during this week in June and to recognize this educational event being held on the "Montana State University campus under the sponsorship of the Montana Cooperative Extension Service for all women of all ages from all counties to increase their knowledge. A pipeline Agreement for a City of Bozeman installation of a 14' Sewer Line under the Chicago Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad tracks located on South Willson Avenue was presented. Gerry, President of the Riverside Country Club, requesting permission to discharg(~ savage from the proposed Riverside Manor Subdivision into the proposed new Bozeman Waste Water Treatment Plant was presented. The City Commission instructed the City Manager to acknowledge receipt of the request from the Riverside Country Club and to advise them that the matter would be taken under study for an early reply. ~~:.E..(~E~.!......fo r .
