The Park Recreation Board at its meeting 11 December 1968 recommedecl that the request be granted. Mr. John Montagne was present to further explain the request but asked for permission to establish the course on the Lindley Park area south and east of the picnic shelter rather than on the Old Country Club area. After discussing the proposed change, it was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Mayor Morrow, that the request to set up a cross country ski track at Lindley Park immediately south and east of the picnic shelter be granted and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow; those vo ting No, none. l~e.:~~!:~:!:1.. The City Manager recommended that the City enter into the revised agreement and that the Mayor and the Clerk be authorized to sign the Agreement for the City. Commissioner Langohr explained that the meeting tvas of a very high level and the experience derived therefrom would be of great value to the City when adopting policies in the future.
