HomeMy WebLinkAbout1968-12-26 300 Bozeman, Hontana 26 December 1968 The Commission of the City of Bozeman met in regular session in the Commission Room, Ci.ty Hall Building, Thursday, 26 December 1968, at 1:00 o'clock p.m. Present were Mayor Morrmv, Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr. City Hanager Cutting, Ass't. City Manager Fryslie, City Attorney Berg and the clerk. A Lease Agreement between Rolfe and Wood, Inc., and the City of Bozeman for the leasing of one 1969 Plymouth Belvedere four-door sedan used by the Building Inspector was presented. The City Manager recoITm1ended that the City enter into the Agreement and the Mayor and the Clerk be authorized to sign the Agreement for the City. It was moved by Commissioner Sedivy, seconded by Commissioner Langohr, that the subject Agreement be entered into by the City as recommended and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Sedivy, Commissioner Langohr and Mayor Morrow; those voting No, none. ~~_~_i!.~l~.<1.~J5~.1!,-~?~~_~~~_~:..r:!!_._S.~2PYD,_S~~)~~_ C i t~LP u ~_J:lll(~_~_(>:!-t_ i}_i c ~t:s_ _1~C)_._~~O}_~ : A letter received from the Board of Railroad Commissioners whereby the Board adopted a policy of granting suspensions of MRC Certificates only on a yearly basis was presented. FollO\vi.ng a thorough discussion, it was moved by Commissioner Langohr, seconded by Commissioner Sedivy, that the Board of Rai1read Commissioners be requested to continue the present suspension of the City of Bozeman MRC Certificate No. 3029 for a period of one year from 1 January 1969 to avoid the cancellation of the certificate and the motion was carried by the following Aye and No vote: those voting Aye being Commissioner Langohr. Smiley, Bozeman, Montana, and Margaret Smiley Vallance of Anaheim, California, and the City of Bozeman for the purchase of a tract of land located in the SE\ NW\ and the SW\ NE\ of Section 26, Township 1 South, Range 5 East M.P.M. and containing 43.535 acres to be utilized as the site for a new City Sewage Disposal plant for a total purchase price of $58,098.80 payable as follows was presented: 1. The sum of Seventeen Thousand and no/100ths Dollars ($17,000.00) on or before the 30th day of December, 1968. 2. The sum of Twenty-one Thousand Ninety Eight and 80/100 Dollars ($21,098.80) on the 15th day of May, 1969. Upon payment of said sum of $21,098.80, the escrow agent hereinafter named shall deliver to the City of Bozeman, the Buyer herein, a warranty deed executed by the Sellers conveying to the City of Bozeman a fee simple title to all of the real property above described frec and clear of all encumbrances of any kind and nature whatsoever.
