I oppose the addition of a full liquor license at the Bozeman Taproom and I would have opposed the
existence of the Taproom if it had initially sought to serve hard alcohol. Its proximity to Hawthorne School
is just too close. During the warmer months the consumption of alcohol is in plain view of half the
classrooms at the school.
While we are at it, I'd like to make sure the fenced in sidewalk area isn't a smokers' zone for the patrons for
the same reasons as stated above.
