As a parent to two children at Hawthorne, I strongly oppose the passing of a full liquor license at the
Taproom. Please think of the children and the negative impacts it could have on their learning. There is
nothing to gain from kids being exposed to a rooftop bar directly in view of the classrooms. Please, think
about what you would want your own kids' daily school experience to be like. It most likely wouldn't
involve a bar in view.
