HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-19-16, Public Comment, A. Oliver,Tap RoomPlease Commissioners, please please do what's right. I'm begging you. We elected you with the hope that
you would put our community interests first. Please don't grant the Tap Room the ability to serve hard
alcohol. Fine, beer and wine. Fine. What's done is done, but don't make it worse. There is a reason state
law was enacted to ensure schools and businesses serving alcohol should be separated by 600 ft. The fact
that Taproom skirted this on a technicality...well as I said, what's done is done. But your people are
counting on you to do the right thing. What does Bozeman stand to gain by granting the Taproom
permission to serve hard liquor? Seriously? What does Bozeman gain? Don't cave to the influence of a
marketing guru, whose job is to spin things so that he and his interests make as much money as
possible. The Taproom doesn't need hard liquor to be a community gathering place. They just want to
make more money. Don't fall to Eric Cade's pressure. Don't grant it just because you have the power
to. Be our voice. Please make us proud to call you our commissioners.
Thank you,
Anna Oliver
