Phone Number: (406) 580-2224 Message: Please deny the request of the Tap Room to obtain a full liquor license. I am very
concerned with the message we are sending to the elementary students of Hawthorne. The
commission has put the welfare of our children in harms way by allowing the Tap Room to be
located within 600 feet of the school. I do not buy the argument that the school is located within the downtown corridor and close to other bars. The other bars are not in direct view of the children sitting in classes across the street! I find it ironic that it has become the citizens of
Bozeman's job to be watchdogs of the commissioners decisions. There is state law in place that
should never have let this bar be built. Let's follow the law and deny this request. Thank you.
