Phone Number: (406) 539-1931 Message: A sales tax is a bad idea, as Montana voters have consistently voted against it. If the
City implements one, then people will make the effort to buy outside city limits. I also have
ZERO faith that property taxes will be reduced by the passage of the sales tax, as governments
RARELY give up any income they are already receiving. The law and justice center failed because of the cost and tax hike required. If the city chooses to implement the sales tax, I will shut down my business and move. I can barely afford to live here now, and I have already cut all
the unnecessary expenses I can. I have a $0 entertainment budget, because rent, electricity, food
and other necessities require 100% of my budget. Thanks a lot for making Bozeman
