Dear City Commission -
I am writing to express my great concern about the conditional use permit that the TapRoom is
seeking, so that they can use a full liquor license…across the street from one of our elementary schools. I believe you should deny this request. I also believe you should feel free
to go on a rant to the owners for having the audacity to request such a thing! I believe it is in bad faith that they used the mailing address loophole to open a bar across the street from a
school in the first place, and this would certainly be a bridge too far.
In order to provide some context to my email, I have no children that attend Hawthorne. But I am a concerned citizen on this issue, and a homeowner within city limits.
